USA Girl Scouts Overseas has announced their annual Early Bird Patch design contest! The contest will be held from March 1 to April 1, 2018 and is a great way for USAGSO Girl Scouts to share their artistic or design talents for the upcoming 2018-2019 Early Bird registration period.
To participate, please visit the Early Bird Patch Design Contest page on the USAGSO website, download the form and follow the instructions to submit your entry. Any Girl Scout in Singapore can submit as many designs as they like. Please use the following information to complete the bottom section of the form:

The Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is coming up on Sunday 18 March. Any Girl Scout can come (with accompanying adult, this is NOT a drop-off event) and walk in the Parade! Our group is meeting at 2:30 PM and the parade starts at 3:00 PM. This event is held rain or shine, so come prepared. All Girl Scouts MUST wear their USAGSO-Singapore vest and MUST bring a completed permission slip to participate.

We need some parent & leaders
to help out at this event.

You heard that right! This is the opportunity for Brownies to earn their "Brownie Quest" Journey in just one day! Girls will meet for a day and go through stations (with leaders and older girls helping) and fulfill all the requirements to earn their Journey by the end of the day.
When: Sunday, 11-March, 2018 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Where: Singapore American School (SAS) Room M301 (Middle School, 3rd floor)
There is no cost for this event, but girls must sign up online to reserve a space. This is a one-day-only event and will not be repeated this year. A permission slip is REQUIRED to participate in this event; download it, print it, fill it out and bring it with you. DON'T FORGET!
What to Bring
All participants should bring the following:
- Girl Scout Brownie vest
- Snack & lunch (NO NUTS OF ANY KIND PLEASE!)
- Water bottle
- Stationery
- Completed Permission Slip
- Completed "Luxury Tax" form & donation funds
Volunteers Needed
As always, we need some adult volunteers to help out with this event. Please give some time and volunteer to help out! |
