Second Chance Supplies is a USAGSO-Singapore program that takes gently used school supplies leftover from the just-completed school year at the Singapore American School (SAS) and sorts and distributes them to charitable organizations in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Originally created by a Girl Scout in Singapore for her Gold Award project, this program relies on everyone and anyone who can to pitch in and help sort supplies for distribution.

Sorting Day

This year's sorting will take place on Saturday, June 6th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Singapore American School, Elementary School in the Kindergarten Group Room (P103).

You can drop in at any time, for any length of time to help out.
Lunch will be provided and you can attend as a troop or a family, and siblings are welcome too (with a parent). There will be jobs for kids of all ages, from testing markers to sorting and packing items for the various charities. Typically we finish earlier than 3:00 PM, so come a bit earlier if you can.

All Girl Scout participants are required to bring a signed permission slip for this event; [click here to download the permission slip form].

Also, please RSVP to jpinla02@yahoo.com
with the number of parents and children coming so we can book lunch and ensure we have enough adult supervision.

Please Recommend A Charity!

Every year we receive a large amount of supplies and can make donations to multiple groups. If you know of any charitable organization who might be interested in a donation of school supplies, please send us their contact details (organization name & email or phone) using our Contact Us form.
