The American Association of Singapore (AAS) has coordinated a community-wide effort to plant 51 trees at the Woodlands Park Connector, one for every US state and one for Singapore in celebration of SG50. The event takes place October 3rd from 8:00 - 1000 AM; to find out more check out Putting Down Roots American Association of Singapore.

AAS has requested USA Girl Scouts (Singapore) help with the event. Cadette scouts and older girls are invited to help and this event qualifies for earning a community service segment for their vests. This activity may also be applied to a variety of badges. Please Sign Up so we can get a headcount as soon as possible.

Younger girl troops are also welcome to attend in support of the American grove. Girls may take a bus to and from The American Club for the event.

Note: This event is the morning of Opening Ceremonies/Songfest.
