Put on those Blue Suede shoes and poodle skirts and get ready to Rock Around the Clock! Our most popular event is back and we’re having a 1950s Sock Hop party! Don't know what a Sock Hop is? Think of the big dance scene in the movie, "Grease" (a movie for girls 12+ only, by the way). For girls, it's poodle skirts, cropped pants, satin jackets and such. For the dads? Jeans and a white t-shirt, leather jacket or bowling shirt are all good - with greased back hair, of course. Still don't know what a Sock Hop is? Check out the video below!
When: November 19, 2016 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM
Where: Singapore American School (map)
Cost: $70 per couple, or $100 for 3+ person families
This is a pre-paid event and all registrations & payments are due by November 7th. NO TICKETS ARE SOLD AT THE DOOR FOR THIS EVENT!
Volunteers Needed!
Although this event is mainly for dads & daughters, moms can still help out. From setup, to sign in, to photo booths, to meal service, to activities and crafts, there are LOTS of things moms can do to help out at the event (and you get to hang out and watch and eat!) Feel free to contact gsfatherdaughter@gmail.com with any questions. WE NEED YOU!
