On Tuesday 9-September, sixteen of our new "Lovely, Lovely Leaders" were trained at The American Club. They covered the basics of the Girl Scout program, how to run meetings, and where to source for ideas, among many other topics. Trainer Alicia Mirabelli did all the heavy lifting while Tawnya Hartberger kept her foot up and relaxed most of the day. Alicia also won the Best Living of the Girl Scout Motto "Be Prepared" by bringing a box of ziplock bags for everyone to take home the leftover food. A special shout out to Executive Committee members who showed up to help and especially New Leader Aiwah Low who stayed after to help cart things back to the carpark.
